Quinn Lamont Luke is a DJ/producer/musician based in Oaxaca and New York. He has released music over the past 20+ years on labels such as Aficionado, Claremont 56, Leng, DFA, Lovemonk, Phantom Island, RAK Records, Rush! Production, Space Shower Japan, Ubiquity, Tummy Touch, Uber, World Famous, and now his own imprint, El Triangulo. He has previously worked under the names Q&A, Coppa, Bing Ji Ling, the Phenomenal Handclap Band, Paqua, and Incarnations.
He has DJ’d and performed around the world in clubs such as Eleven (Tokyo), Lux Club (Lisbon), Fabric (London), Pikes (Ibiza), 205 Club (New York), and at festivals such as Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, and The Big Chill (UK), Fuji Rock (Japan), Love International (Croatia), Primavera Sound and Ibiza Rocks (Spain).
He has collaborated and worked with an extended network of DJs and musicians, that includes Shawn Lee, Groove Armada, Tommy Guerrero, Darondo, Bryan Ferry, Marcos Valle, Phil “Cantoma” Mison, Paul “Mudd” Murphy, Psychemagik, Vetiver, Dianne Birch, No Doubt, and Alex From Tokyo.
Luke’s output covers a broad, eclectic range of styles from folk to house. Luke’s various releases have been remixed by Idjut Boys, Ray Mang, Ron Basejam, Jose Manuel, Pete Herbert, Alexander Barck (Jazzanova), Lexx, Emperor Machine, Horse Meat Disco, Leo Mas, and many others.
